About Me

My name is Simon Bouilhac, and I am a French sound designer. After exploring various aspects of music and audio, I discovered the fascinating world of sound design, where I can blend creativity and technology to immerse players in unique experiences.
I began my professional journey as an audio engineer, during which I developed my recording and mixing skills. However, it was my discovery of sound design for video games that ignited my true passion. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on several projects, including "Shadows of The Past" and "BFME: Reforged." In these projects, I created dynamic and immersive sound effects, crafted haunting atmospheres and dialogues, as well as handled integration into the game engine and mixing.

Every project starts with a deep immersion in the game world. Whether it's an intense horror game or an epic RPG, I focus on adapting each sound to reflect the emotions and actions of the player. I firmly believe that sound is more than just an addition to a video game; it’s essential to the overall player experience. Sound should not only complement the visuals but also serve as an integral part of the narrative. Well-chosen sound effects can enhance emotions, highlight actions, and transform an ordinary moment into something truly memorable.
My expertise with tools like Wwise, Metasounds, and Blueprints—some of the most powerful for integrating sound into video games—enables me to create reactive audio that evolves based on the player's actions, making the experience even more immersive and interactive. I am always seeking new challenges. If you have a video game project in mind and are looking for a passionate sound designer to help bring your sound universe to life, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would be thrilled to discuss potential collaboration on new and exciting projects.
